Ecowise

It’s been a long drawn dream of mine too to create a organisation that is self sufficient in managing the waste it collects, with minimal reliance on on third party vendors specially on the processing side. In the year 2008 we set up a 100 tons a day organic waste to compost facility in Noida, using a mix of windrow & vermin composting to process the waste.

The compost was sold to back to the households & industries from where we collected waste. Our plant closed down in 2014 due to nimby (Not In My Back Yard) syndrome, & ever since then we have either been outsourcing the composting activity or providing clean organic waste as cattle feed.

With the goal of reducing waste collection costs from our clients site, meeting environmental regulations & deploying transparency & traceability in our waste management process, we decided to start treating the organic waste directly at our clients site. Last year we solved another critical challenge, that of financing equipment costs for a lot of RWA’s & small business or stand alone store. This was done by providing a lease to own or lease to rent program, another innovate push towards making sustainable choices financially accessible for every one.

Part of this vision was completed a few years ago by successfully implementing our solutions at site of many of our industrial & commercial clients. Today we complete the second half by providing in-house composting solutions to individual houses & small offices with a buy back guarantee (Buy Back Guarantee Only In Delhi/NCR & Bangalore) of compost at a fixed rate.

As we continue to work on treating organics by expanding our reach & convincing more of our clients & individuals to opt for in house treatment, we have started our journey to tackle another major challenge; that of managing plastic waste in a traceable & transparent manner. In the new three months Eco Wise will start processing in house, many different types of plastics that it collects, hence closing the closing the circle of transparency & traceability for some of the widely found post consumer plastic waste!

In the mean while time to get your hands dirty & start composting
